2. How does a person inherit this genetic disorder? Is it dominant or recessive? Is it genetic or chromosomal?

A person does not inherit this disorder; there is simply just a single gene mutation. The gene is known as lamin A, which makes protein to help hold the nucleus of a cell together. Researchers say that this mutation makes the cell unstable. It is considered an autosomal dominate syndrome, and is a rare genetic disorder.
