3. If this disease is genetic--what are the possible genotypes of the paretns? If the disease is a chromosomal abnormality, describe the abnormality.


With Progeria being a genetic disorder, most of the time, if not always, the parent’s genotypes are normal, meaning they probably aren’t even carriers.  This is because the syndrome is from a mutation in germ cells, the morula, or the zygote.
